Canton Community Resources: Clubs & Organizations

The objective of the Canton Garden Club (CGC) is to promote interest in and knowledge of gardening, civic improvements and the conservation of wildlife and natural resources.
We encourage others to take pride in their community by sharing our knowledge and enthusiasm for all things green and growing.

For over 65 years the Canton Lions have generously volunteered their time, passion and energy to support all aspects of our local community and our five global causes; Diabetes, Vision, Hunger, the Environment and Childhood Cancer.

All are welcome to join us for chess at the library. All ages and abilities are welcome. If you are new to the game we are happy to help you get started! Chess Club meets the last Tuesday of each month from 6-8pm at the Library.

The Canton Town Club was founded in 1939 as a non-profit charitable organization, dedicated towards serving the the citizens of Canton and the surrounding communities. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the Club prides itself as being an integral part of the social, athletic and charitable fabric of the town of Canton.

Community Club meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month, usually at Pequitside Farm, 79 Pleasant St. at 12 noon. A Tea and Luncheon is followed by an informative, educational and entertaining program which varies monthly. After the program, a short business meeting is conducted. New members are always welcome.

The MOMS Club® (Moms Offering Moms Support) of Canton, MA is a non-profit organization designed to connect moms and kids in Canton, MA by providing friendship and support through activities including playgroups, playground meet ups, mom-only activities such as our monthly Moms’ Night Out and much, much more.

Brookwood Community Farm’s mission is to build a farm-centered community united by a shared passion for sustainable agriculture, fresh local food and a commitment to increasing access to healthy food.
Brookwood grows food for members through a community supported agriculture (CSA) model, provides on-farm educational and community-building opportunities, and actively supports food access projects.

The Canton Association of Business and Industry (CABI) is a nonprofit corporation working since 1972 to make Canton a better community for both business and residents. We have served as a bridge of understanding and cooperation between citizens, government and our member companies.

Brings together local farmers and artisans who produce the highest quality goods and connects them to the Canton community, while providing education on health and wellness through fresh food, fitness and social connection.

The Society has been collecting Canton's History since 1898. Our collections begin with artifacts from the late 1600's through today. Highlights of our collection include a strong understanding of industry, military conflicts and daily life in Canton, Massachusetts. We are a non-profit museum and educational institution dedicated to preserving our history and place.

The Friends of the Canton Public Library is a group of interested citizens dedicated to supporting and enhancing library services in Canton. Membership is open to individuals, families, businesses and organizations.

A group of mothers and daughters who have come together in a commitment to community service, leadership development and cultural experiences.
